Lead Educators & Leadership

The PTSA accesses the largest SLE resource in the South West region. Within the city there are 101 SLEs or PTSA’s own PLEs, with expertise available in all phases of education. The SLEs are supported and QA’d by one of the 14 Subject Hubs coordinated by the PTSA. The hub’s remit is to respond to citywide needs and national policy change. The hubs provide a valuable opportunity for professionals to collaborate, moderate and access support. Many of the hubs hold annual conferences and lead on CPD and support ITE.

Leadership training through NPQs is accessed through LSSW. In addition, we run a number of courses to develop middle and senior leadership as well as system leadership. We are developing a Targeted Leadership Support Programme for emerging and senior leaders, SLEs and peer reviewers for 2017-2018.
